Beauty Brands Championing Women’s Empowerment

February 28, 2025

It’s no secret that in the new world of social media and increased accessibility, consumers are requiring their favourite beauty brands to do more than just sell products, and a wave of Australian companies is leading by example – putting purpose and women’s empowerment at the heart of their business. From helping women with confidence and self-esteem, to supporting vital shelters and community initiatives, these beauty powerhouses are making a tangible difference in the lives of countless Australian women. Here’s how they’re changing the game, one act of kindness at a time.

Nude by Nature

Known for its cruelty-free, PETA-certified products, Nude by Nature also supports Support the Girls with both financial backing and product donations. Their commitment funds crucial Rural Outreach Programs, ensuring their beauty products such as foundation, concealers, moisturisers and more reach isolated communities. The brand’s dedication to natural beauty isn’t just skin deep—it empowers women by bridging access gaps in rural areas, making self-care a possibility for those who need it.

Our favourite product: We’re embracing the minimal makeup look in 2025, so the Natural Mineral Cover is our go to loose powder foundation.

Modibodi

Modibodi is redefining the way women experience periods and incontinence with innovative, leak-proof underwear. But their impact reaches beyond product innovation. As a female-founded and female-led company, Modibodi is a major product sponsor for Support the Girls Australia, a charity providing professionally fitted bras, menstrual products, and toiletries to women in need. Since 2021, Modibodi has donated over 1,400 products, helping to restore dignity and confidence. “Together, we bring visibility to women across Australia,” says Support the Girls. Modibodi’s contributions help reduce period poverty and create lasting change for women across the country.

Alpha-H

Led by CEO Jane Holmes, female-run brand Alpha-H, is a pioneer in clinical skincare and also supports Support the Girls. Every Alpha-H purchase contributes to their mission to give vulnerable and disadvantaged Australian girls and women access to supportive bras and hygiene products. Customers can also donate directly when placing an order. This partnership strengthens grassroots efforts to break cycles of poverty and trauma by creating social enterprise facilities required to help empower women. Support The Girls also want to increase the assistance to those elderly and vulnerable people that don’t have the capacity to go into independent living but still need support with bras and underwear to provide them with a sense of dignity.

Our favourite product: If we had to pick just one product from the range of award-winning serums and creams from Alpha-H, it would have to be their Vitamin C Serum with 10% Ethyl Ascorbic Acid.
