Initially launched to support cancer charities, Dry July has evolved into a popular movement that empowers people to reset their relationship with alcohol, enhance their health, and raise vital funds for a worthy cause.

The Sophisticated Lady

Ingredients:

  • 60ml Barnes and Brown “Lady Juniper” Gin
  • 30ml fresh lemon juice
  • 15ml simple syrup
  • Lemon slices for garnish

Method:

  1. Combine Lady Juniper, lemon juice and simple syrup in a shaker with ice.
  2. Shake and strain into a chilled coupe glass.
  3. Garnish with lemon slices.

Mojito Magic

Ingredients:

  • ½ medium lime (wedges)
  • Bundle of mint leaves (3-4)
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 30ml Barnes and Brown “Senorita Bianco” White Rum
  • ½ cup club soda
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • Mint leaves and lime to garnish

Method:

  1. Place lime wedges, mint leaves and sugar in a tall glass. Use a muddler or spoon to release the flavours.
  2. Pour the non-alcoholic white rum into the glass. Stir and add ice.
  3. Pour club soda as needed to fill the glass. Stir again.
  4. Top with more crushed ice, a bunch of mint leaves and a lime wedge.

Agave Sunset

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Barnes and Brown “Miss Agave” Tequila
  • 60ml fresh orange juice
  • 15ml grenadine syrup
  • Orange slice for garnish

Method:

  1. Pour tequila and orange juice in a tall glass. 
  2. Mix, then fill with ice.
  3. Drizzle grenadine and do not mix!
  4. Garnish with orange slices.

Berry Spritz

Ingredients:

  • 50ml Barnes and Brown “Lady Juniper
  • 20ml elderflower cordial
  • 100ml sparkling water
  • Fresh or frozen berries and mint for garnish

Method:

  1. Add ice to a glass, and a few spoons of mixed berries.
  2. Add Lady Juniper, elderflower cordial and sparkling water. 
  3. Garnish with mint.
