With the summer heat arriving earlier than expected, now is the perfect time to refresh your wardrobe with some essential warm-weather staples. WARBS’ linen shirts are a must-have addition to any spring or summer collection, offering timeless style and unbeatable comfort. Their effortless elegance and premium quality make them a piece you’ll reach for daily, whether you’re dressing up for an outing or keeping it casual.
What makes WARBS shirts so special is that they are made from certified European 100% French linen, grown in France and shipped to Australia. Beyond their signature button-up shirts, WARBS offers a thoughtfully curated range of products, from crocheted coasters to hemp socks, all crafted with sustainability and longevity in mind. The brand is rooted in slow fashion principles, favouring natural and sustainable fibres like hemp, organic cotton, bamboo, flax, and linen- materials that biodegrade much faster than synthetic alternatives like polyester and nylon. By choosing these eco-friendly fibres, WARBS is actively reducing the environmental impact of its garments, ensuring that the planet is as cared for as its customers.

Each piece in the WARBS collection is thoughtfully handcrafted from sustainably sourced materials, a decision rooted in the brand’s awareness of the toxic dangers posed by synthetic fibres. Founder Emily believes that incorporating more sustainable fibres into our everyday lives is not only crucial for the environment but also for our health. Although this handmade process is more time-intensive, Emily emphasises that it’s the love, care, and passion infused into each garment that makes it truly special.
Emily handmakes all of WARBS pieces.
The attention to detail is evident in every piece, from the precise stitching to the use of natural materials like coconut shells and tagua nuts for buttons. These eco-friendly buttons are just as durable as plastic ones but carry a personal, artisanal touch that enhances the uniqueness of each item. This commitment to sustainability is not only about reducing environmental impact but also about creating beautiful, long-lasting pieces with purpose and intention.
Emily’s journey to launching WARBS is a story of perseverance and passion. After spending a decade in the retail industry, her career was put on hold during the COVID pandemic. With newfound time, she enrolled in an eight-week sewing course with her mentor Dragana and, three years later, continues to hone her craft. Balancing her part-time work with her time in the studio, Emily has made her dream of creating sustainable fashion a reality.
Excitingly, a new collection is on the horizon for WARBS, where Emily will experiment with fresh fabrics, colours, and patterns. So, whether you’re a fan of the brand’s signature pieces or eager to see what’s next, WARBS is a label to watch this season.
