Before we get into the details of these pieces, let’s go back in time to when Vaycaze was born. Vaycaze the label was founded in 2021 by Cassidy who was sick of overweight luggage and one wear pieces that were of poor fit and quality. Staying away from the traditional fashion calendar and fast fashion cycle, Cassidy endeavoured to create transeasonal designs that are inspired by a balmy summer getaway. These pieces are produced in small quantities with vegan, sustainable materials to avoid the environmental burden of overproduction. These pieces are also exclusively one of a kind, meaning that once the garments are sold out, they will no longer be produced.

Now that we have got the nitty gritty (but important facts!) out of the way, let’s talk about fashion. Vaycaze has released five stunning collections all paying homage to the landscape of the serene world around us which informs each collection’s patterns, colourways and designs. Take After Sunrise in Barbados, Vaycaze’s latest collection which is inspired by the famous aquamarine waters in the Caribbean coast and has been represented in their flowy Airlie Black Skirt and their teal Ashlee Corset Top. We absolutely adore how much care and thought is put into these designs!

If this wasn’t enough to fall in love with Vaycaze, we have news that will seal the deal. Vaycaze is launching Costa Del Sol, their newest collection that will be available in November. These pieces are again lightweight, able to be worn in multiple ways, and can be matched with multiple garments. This collection has it all with new patterns in customers’ favourite designs such as the famous sold-out scarf top and has identified the missing items in our suitcases (hint: a wrinkle-free cotton set and a throw-over beach dress?!) We also love that Cassidy has been showing customers the entire launch process, from designing the collection to trying out samples, and has been consistently asking for opinions throughout this process. It is that kind of thoughtfulness that makes us at The Modern Muse Magazine want to partner with brands like Vaycaze. Their brand is centred around their customers, and it makes us feel like we have been wrapped up in a (stylish) warm hug.
I don’t know about you, but we will be purchasing everything from the Costa Del Sol collection which is live now! The best way to keep tabs on further collections is to subscribe to Vaycaze’s newsletter and follow their socials. Thank you Vaycaze for joining The Modern Muse family and for making our November issue come to life. We are so lucky to have partnered with such a stunning brand. Shop their range below.
