Spill The Tea Co: Fostering Sip Worthy Stories

February 29, 2024
Fill your cup and spill the tea with STT!

Introducing The Modern Muse Magazine’s latest obsession- Spill The Tea Co. Spill The Tea is a loose-leaf, sustainable, and ethically sourced herbal + fruit-based tea business. Hand-blended with love in rural NSW, Spill The Tea is refining what it means to drink tea so move over Nanna and hello wellness girly pops who love a bit of colour, wordplay, iced teas, cocktails and of course a warm cup of tea to start the day. Let’s explore the world of Spill The Tea.

About the Founder

Meet Sienna, the beau-tea-ful face behind Spill The Tea and avid enthusiast of all things health, wellbeing, happiness, and fun whilst living a natural and clean (yet balanced) lifestyle. Sienna’s obsession with tea began in 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. The only thing keeping her sane was long chats with her family and friends over Facetime and of course, sipping tea whilst spilling the tea.

As her newly found herbal addition continued, she began to research different tea blends to try and soon discovered a gap in the market towards young adults consuming tea. She made it her mission to change the stigma and attitude by bringing an aesthetic edge to tea drinking amongst other important things younger people value like health, wellness, and sustainability. And thus Spill The Tea was born!

Let’s Talk About Sustainability

Sustainability is near and dear to Sienna which is why Spill The Tea prioritises sustainable practices by using ethically sourced and local ingredients. Furthermore, each colourful cylinder that you receive your tea in is recyclable, reusable, and biodegradable. The shipping bags used are also zero waste and compostable!

The Goodness of Tea

It is rumoured that drinking tea makes you spill the tea but that’s not the only goodness that Sienna’s tea provides. All of Spill The Tea’s blends have been hand-blended (with love) to provide health and wellness benefits including our favourite blend the ‘Emotional Wreck’ to calm the mind and soul with ingredients such as ginger, lemongrass, chamomile and lavender. Coming in strong is our next favourite ‘Allsorts Are Good Sorts’ which includes ingredients like peppermint, liquorice root and fennel to aid digestion for hot girls with stomach problems (so basically me). Finally, we can’t forget about the star of the show, the signature ‘Spill The Tea’ blend which includes sunflower petals to reduce inflammation in the windpipes so you can… you guessed it… talk more tea!
