Lavandula Swiss Italian Farm

Lavandula is a historical farm that offers the charm of a Swiss-Italian village. You can explore the lush gardens, rustic buildings, and lavender fields. The lavender blooms during the summer months and peaks in January, but can last till autumn, making it a near all-year-round attraction. You can enjoy the farm’s beauty for only $5, take a tour of the original homestead, and meet the animals that call the farm their home. The farm is pet-friendly too, so you can bring your furry friend along with you. You can also pack a picnic and choose your preferred location, or dine at La Trattoria Eatery & Bar, located at the centre of the farm. The eatery serves Mediterranean and lavender-inspired dishes. Moreover, you can visit the barn and choose from over one hundred handcrafted aromatherapy products that are made on-site.

The Convent Gallery

Daylesford boasts a thriving arts community, and you can explore it through numerous art galleries. Don’t miss The Convent Gallery, a captivating fusion of artistic expression and historical charm. Housed within a beautifully restored 19th-century convent, this gallery is a treasure trove of contemporary art and cultural heritage. As you explore its halls, you’ll encounter a diverse array of exhibitions showcasing paintings, sculptures, prints & ceramics. Beyond the art, the gallery’s verdant garden and café/bar are inspired by the nuns that used to occupy the convent.

The town is a food lover’s paradise, boasting an abundance of farm-to-table restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. For a taste of the local produce, head to The Lake House, where culinary masterpieces are crafted using ingredients from small-scale local suppliers and growers. Farmers Arms offers a casual atmosphere and serves elevated comfort food that will satisfy your appetite.
