India was once an introverted individual who preferred to avoid attention, but her journey of self-discovery led her to embrace fashion as a crucial part of her identity. As she gained confidence, she began experimenting with colour and developed a playful approach to fashion, learning to express her personal style without concern for others’ opinions. Her passion for fashion design emerged in childhood and led her to study a personal styling course with the Australian Style Institute in Melbourne. Since then, India has assisted in numerous fashion shows and editorial shoots across the country, with several features in magazines. A strong advocate for sustainable fashion, she encourages conscious consumption and incorporates unique second-hand pieces into her work. Inspired by icons like Carrie Bradshaw, Maxine Wylde, and Wisdom Kaye, India embraces creativity and individuality, viewing fashion as a powerful form of self-expression rather than just following trends.
